Statement 35

There is no path that gets us ‘to’ subjectivity, just as there is no path that gets us ‘to’ objectivity assuming we are old enough to begin to think that we can make that distinction. We ‘know’ objectivity through a set of practices and conditions (some of which proclaim themselves as science) just as we ‘know’ subjectivity through a set of practice and conditions (some of which proclaim themselves as psychological). Unless a concerted effort is made to distinguish these two and fortify their falsities, most people are happy moving about between them in the form of free play.
